How to get to Koh Samui/Phangngan/Tao
There is basically only one way to get to the islands from Nakhon and that is via Donsak ferry terminal/s.
Take the mini-bus (or ride/drive) to Donsak.
Get a ferry (Seatrans or Raja ferries) to Samui or Phangngan. If you're going to Koh Tao you will have to get another fery/boat from Koh Phangngan.
Mini-bus details; Sichon Pattanakit Company. The fare is B200 and that includes the ferry ticket.
Their office where you board the mini-bus is at the north end of Rajadamnern Rd.
Tel: 075 342400 / 0845078643

A car over to Samui is B400 but changes when fuel prices change. You can use that as a guideline.

Don't forget you can also go to Koh Tao via Chumporn on a much quicker and more comfortable boat (don't think you can take cars there though).

If I can't take my car, then I will not go...
Would you leave your car at the docks over night here in Thailand??? Don't think so!
