lesson 5 - health
As recommended previously let's talk about health.
Again, i'll try to keep it sweet and simple and then if any questions arise answer them then.
P.S - Shark Bite Bickle is good on health words (for some reason - what could that be?)
sentences:
i feel sick - pom mai sabia
i have a bad stomach - tong sia
i need a doctor - pom tong gaan mor
have you been to a doctor yet? - haa mor ruh yang?
help me!!!! - chuwai duwai
can you help me please - chuwai noi
i'm looking for a patient - pom haa kon kai
i have a fever - pom pben kai
i have a sore throat - pom jeb kor
i don't feel too good - pom rusig mai koy dee tow rai (this is intermediate grammar)
call a doctor - riak mor noi
is it a big problem? - mee ban haa yai mai?
It changed colour and fell off - mun pblien see le luut

Re: lesson 5 - health
Nice one SitapatrJay, especially liked the last one:
"Mun pblien see le luut." Just hope I'll never need to use that one.

Re: lesson 5 - health
sorry for not being specific.
Quick grammar check: In thai adjective follows noun, so red car = car red (rot deng) this applies to all forms of description (especially adverbs) so stomach ache becomes ache stomach - buwad tong and head ache becomes ache head - buwad huwa
My apologies, please keep sending questions as it will help me give better instruction in the future.
thanks

Re: lesson 5 - health
There is also 'Jeb huwa', 'jeb tong' etc with 'jeb' meaning hurt ....
so it's basically head hurt, stomach hurt etc.
...... I think.
