If you live anywhere in Thailand, where would it be?
Some people like mountains, others like the sea and there are those that like cities. We are all different and have different needs. If I had achoice of anywhere to live it would be Amphur Muang, Phangnga. very very few foreigners, lovely people in what I think is one of the nicest parts of the country. That and you are only an hour away from 'civilization' in Phuket, Krabi or Ranong. Spent 3 years there and loved every minute.
Where would you like to settle down?

Thailand is still my first choice but if I had the money or something to do there I think I would settle down in the Spanish interior away from all the tourist areas. Love the lifestyle and food there! Also a beautiful country and it gets cold in the winter! I miss the cold!

how can you miss the cold with that aircon you have???
I bet that your neighbour had to buy new blankets because of the ice on the wall to your place... Feel sorry for him/her/it...
If the money was not a problem I would settle down in Spain too... Would not live here then!
