jobs, jobs, job,... and jobs...
It looks like quite an exodus this year. A lot of jobs are going vacant - at all of the big schools. Most notably the vacancy of a dozen Klan positions.

No more than usual Ron .... in fact this year is probably our lowest number of 'leavers' in years, just the one who is returning to his home country.
The other 'big' schools all seem to have a semi-permanent magic roundabout of employees.

Think you are talking out of your butt there sir, care to give us some inside info here? Where are the dirty dozen? Big schools in Thailand? Sure, Big schools in NST? Nope, don't think so... Full Time Teachers - various subjects
Sithammarat Suksa School, a 108 year old private Christian school in Nakon Si Thammarat, Thailand, is looking for responsible, motivated, NATIVE SPEAKING teachers to join our English Program Staff. We need G.9 Maths, g.11 Sci, (must have degree or background in subject) G.1homeroom and Kindergarten teachers. We have 26 NST, and retain most teachers every year. The English Programme at Srithammaratsuksa School is looking to fill the following positions:
Early-years Program:
Kindergarten 1-Team teaching ages 3-4 with Thai staff -- must be creative, outgoing, love children, possess good time management, be team oriented and adaptable.
2 Kindergarten 3 - Team teaching ages 5-6 with Thai staff -- must be creative, outgoing, love children, possess good time management, be team oriented and adaptable.
Primary English Program:
Head of Primary Foreign Staff – along with some teaching
Grades 1-3 Integrated classroom teacher (Language Arts, Mathematics, Science)
Grades 4-6 Mathematics or Language Arts teacher
Grades 1-6 Music teacher – ability to offer an additional subject
Grades 1-6 Computer teacher – ability to offer an additional subject (tentative)
Grades 1-6 PE teacher – ability to offer an additional subject (tentative)
The Primary Program is expected to grow next year and as such is looking to recruit new hires. Several qualified teachers are also expected to move to international schools next year.
The ideal candidate for the primary program will have knowledge of or a willingness to learn integration (1-3) and/or units of inquiry (1-6), be team-oriented and want to take an active role in curriculum design and assessment.
The teaching load in the primary program will be maximum 18 periods per week out of 40.
Secondary English Program:
Grades 10-12 Math and/or Science teacher (Advanced Algebra, Geometry, Statistics) (Physics, Biology) *more important to have English Language teaching abilities than advanced knowledge of subjects due to low English Proficiency of students.
Grades 7-9 Science (Teaching English through Basic Science, General Biology)

Guess you missed that one... I think that this is the norm for that school... Sure they might lose some people, but don't they always do that? Expansion means more teachers... PS.
