PC VS Apple E-MAC
I have an old E-mac in school, works well with the internet now but I do have some problems... It connects to the same network as the other teachers PC's but for some reason I can not print... I can not burn CD's either and it is starting to piss me off... I can print if the printer is connected directly to my computer, but not over the network(?)... I have reinstalled all the software that I got from the dealer (I worked for apple before) and I have checked the Apple knowledge data base on the net for information, but still, I can not sort out these problems...
Any suggestions on what else I can try to do?I am running the Mac OSX version 10.3.9 with a 1.25 GHZ PowerPc G4 processor, along with 256MB DDR SDRAM
Build code is 7w98 with serial number YM438JX4QGR
Any suggestions??? I would also appreciate if you had a MAC version of the office pack... so I could open my PC files on it... I do not want open office or anything else... I have tried them all but they all have some major faults on it...

Re: PC VS Apple E-MAC
Never had an Apple, only normal PCs. Never really had a problem except the desktop I use has intermittant problems starting. Once she's warmed she is fine.
