Online news: Breakingnews

Oil traders announced on Wednesday they will increase retail prices of both petrol and diesel by 0.60 baht per litre from 5am Thursday.

Bangchak said it had to raise pump-prices because the global oil price had risen to nearly US$80 per barrel, lowering its market margin.

The new retail prices will be 34.14 baht per litre for petrol 91, 30.54 baht for gasohol 95, 29.74 baht for gasohol 91, 26.29 baht for diesel and 24.99 baht for diesel B5.

The price of gasohol E85 is unchanged.

Esso had already raised its diesel price by 0.80 baht a litre on Wednesday.

Funny that is!!! When I was back in Norway last week the price went down!!! What happened??? Did Thailand just discover that you can make money on people by taxing the petrol/diesel???
