What was your first personal mode of transport in Thailand?
I arrived here to live permanently after being here a few times beforehand. Anyway, coming here permanently, I flew into Don Muang to be met by my wife and some in-laws. After a couple of days relaxing we went out car shopping and after looking around settled on a 2nd hand Toyota 2.8l 4x4 pickup. Great car it was, built in Australia but they were fairly common here too. In fact there are a couple knocking around Nakhon at the moment. That was my first car and have had a few since. Didn't really get back onto bikes until about 6 years or so ago when I bought myself a little 750 Honda.
What is/was your first personal form of transport?

Bicycles hadn't yet been invented when you were 12.
