I'm toying with idea of getting a multigym in my house and don't really know if it worth it. I went to the gym religiously for a few months last year and quite enjoyed it. However, I haven't been for a long time now and need to get back in shape. Anybody agree or not?

Having a home gym comes down to one thing, willpower...

Admin, after years of knowing you, that is something you do not posses... So drop that idea. If you think that you can sit at home and do some exercise while watching Top Gear on TV, think again...

Get back to the gym again and do that for a few months... Then if you really want to get one, buy one.

BTW. Lifting weights, if done correctly will be of great help to get the body of a lifelong dream, but then again, is the will power there to do this at home?

So true and so fragile, what about a trip to the gym? What about changing your lifestyle? What about looking at what YOU put into your body?

That would change alot!

It does not help to rent it, one also have to walk up and down a few times.. not just yell up to throw the keys down... If you forget the keys upstairs, you walk back up again!!!

Buy some free weights. They're probably a lot cheaper than a Nautilus system and don't take up too much space. And you can use them at home instead of going all the way over to a gym where you have to pay them every time. I bought some free weights from a friend just when I came over, and it was a good decision. I work out about 5 times/week. My weight is down, and each workout is close to an hour. I used to go to a gym a lot, and this is as good.

But it's all up to you, really, in what you want to achieve.

I would say it is more up to will power...

I don't think Admin posess enough of that to justify it...
