Water Heater Installation.
I'm tired of cold showers, so I'm thinking of getting a water heater installed before the rainy season begins. Does anyone know of an electrican who could do it, and the price of the installation?

It's a fairly easy job to do. However if you ask at the store you buy your heater from, they should be able to advise. I know a great guy but he lives up in ThaSala and I can't see him coming all the way down just to install a water heater.
The price will be minimul.

I'd be most appreciative if you would share the name and number of this electrician. I'm also going to be putting in a water heater and want to make sure it is done right.
Thanks.

If you're in Nakhonsithammarat City only - call a guy called Montree 0869408904
He'll sort out your electrical problems and install a water heater for you.
Drop him B500 and he'll be happy.

Re: Water Heater Installation.
What level of installation are we talking here; Full wiring to the consumer unit and a break point switch, or just connecting the heater to some existing wiring?
If the wiring is already in place, its a doddle to fit, otherwise, get a local in. Although, saying that, I have existing wiring in place here that has been spurred off a light switch (completely the wrong wattage) - I aint fitted a heater to that though.
Electrics here are dangerous to say the least - wires wound together with a bit of tape, extra outlets wired to the nearest run off point regardless of fuse rating.
If the wiring is already in place, then for the sake of drilling a couple of holes I'd say DIY, it probably wont be any more dangerous than getting an "expert" in to do it.
Please note: Comments made here are my own opinnion and not intended to be taken as gospel. I can not be held responsible for any loss or injury as a result of following my ill conceived advise.

Re: Water Heater Installation.
I'm a bit confused.
In post #2 it says that the electrician is located in Tha Sala and likely won't go into the city for a small job, but later in the thread it says that he is only available for jobs in Nakhon city.
Is this the same electrician, or are two electricians being discussed? If so, I'd like to have the contact details of the one in Tha Sala.
