I don't think I'll be taking my bike up to BKK so I hope to sell it prior to leaving for 20 000 baht.
New, they cost (or used to cost, I don't think they're making them anymore) 90 000 baht but this one is around 5 years old, has 35 000km on the clock and does not have the book in my name (the person whose name it's in does not live in Thailand anymore).
It is a comfortable ride, the engine is still in good order, I regularly change the oil and get the brakes checked, and it's purple.

I am very interested sir, may there be a demonstration of the ultimate power bike in the near future?
I am not sure I can handle the power... Also, need some information about the name of the book...

Yeah, you can take it for a spin whenever you want.
The book is always going to be a big pain in the arse. That's why I never chased it up.

ok C BERT.. for everyone out there who maybe intrested .. you can drive it in thje nakhon province .. but DO NOT TRY and go to Phuket on it ... the police will take it away ... but it is a good price for that bike ... easy to handle and easy to get fixed..... you have one other good point it is 5 years old .. and only 35000 on the clock ... low mileage.
someone should take it.. it isa good buy.

I am not so sure about that Goldmember... The reason for that is that if the green book is in a foreigners name, you can easily say that it is your friends bike and he is on holiday back home, or he use it whenever he gets here... As long as you can upgrade the insurance and tax, they will not take it...
Bigger grey import bikes are a completely different matter... Now, if you have an accident, you might be worse off!

I don't have your phone number Mr. Bickle, but I need the bike today... I have a guy with 20000B in his pocket, looking for a phantom... (Bring the book along... Can you meet me at The Tavern in the afternoon??? What time would be best for you???

There is no book. Just so we're clear about that. The previous owner has the book and I'm not confident he'll be able to locate it anytime soon.

That can be fixed... as long as there is some goodwill from the brother who is still in Thailand... Just to be clear, this is a legal bike, not a grey import... lots of different things with that!!!
